I read somewhere that Windex and other standard "household" glass cleaners will harm tint over time... don't know if this includes our factory tint, but I don't use it any more.

griots glass cleaner is good
so is plain water and rubbing alcohol in a 50/50 mix
A new type that came out is eagle one 20/20, which I use on my tinted glass.

I heard somewhere that you should clean the outside left to right and then wipe the inside up and down (or vice versa) so you know if residual streaks are on the inside or outside, neat idea.

Cut up old cotton bedsheets seem to do an excellent job without leaving lint behind.

Old Sears catalogs used to be quite popular around here....

"rip, rip, rip... oh hi honey! What's that? Noise? It's nothing, I'm just changing the bed sheets... you know how I like to help around the house!"

Cory, just before the wife realized that he was ripping up those bed sheets with the roses on them.

I'll give it a try Steve!! Always hated sleeping on roses anyway.

I use "Rain-X Glass Cleaner" It comes in a concentrated bottle and you just mix some with water and put it in a spray bottle. The spray bottle came along with mine. This stuff is great, just use a nice clean cloth to wipe off. It also makes the rain bead really nice when it rains, almost as good as the original "Rain-X".

I've had great results with Mother's glass cleaner. Don't much care for Windex...leaves a film of some sort.

I use the K.I.S.S. method (keep it simple stupid)

A towel, preferably terry cloth.

Chamois the window and use the towel to dry off completely.

It does work! And no streaks.

The car and window's should be washed with proper soap.

Thumbs up

I purchase baby cloth diapers from Walmart, padded in the middle, washable over and over, cheap and 100 percent cotton.

Really strange to buy them as we don't have any kids nor will we ever...

Supper soft too.

Idea from good old mom.

Use rainX fog cleaned 1 to 15 parts water.

Rain X outer windows.

Hey all -

Try taking the juice from a lemon or two (real stuff, not the concentrated stuff) with a couple cups water...

REAL cheap - and REAL good.

Use newsprint paper if possible (without the metal fragements of course) to dry.

HTH!
