The one common possibility is the reference sensors.
If you begin to work with the reference sensors, be prepared to purchase either new or BMW (cheaper) interchange because they may be frozen in the sensor bracket and you may break one trying to get it out to clean or ????

The connections are located at the top of the engine in the center by the firewall.
Please head my warning about working on the sensors. They are fragile

but, how can it be reference sensors? If I go out and start the car every 3-5 hrs it starts and runs perfect? I only have problems if the car sits for a while.
I've tried an experiment of starting the car every 5 hrs this weekend and the car has run perfect all weekend. Although I know tomorow morning it will be a bitch to start.
