Why can't I get a deal like this?
Saturday at the Porsche Kreuzer event in Dayton, Ohio I met a guy who just bought a '89 951S two weeks ago. Believe it or not he got this car for (drum roll please) $3000.00!!!
The car is Alpine white with a black interior, no dash cracks,& Design 90 wheels. The only problem with the car is that it has a small rust bubble on each rocker just behind the doors. The seller told him it needed a new cv joint and that was why he was selling it. A little body work, new tires and wheels, and new cv's and he's got a very clean '89 951S for under $7K!! That's just sick.
The car looked and ran good. I would have paid $3K for it sight unseen! Around here a ragged out '86 will still set you back 7 or 8 thousand.
If the owner is reading this I just want to say congratulations on a great purchase and I think I hate you. (Just kidding) Just let me know if the seller has a 993 he wants to sell. I'll give him $6000 for it.

Although the price was great, the car looked very "tired" and there was a bit of bondo. Would make a great parts car, or potential track beast with the right TLC.
I would have bought it sight-unseen as well.....
