what spark plug is better (in all ways... power, engine life etc...) for my 951, 1986
1. Bosch Platinum Ir Fusion (I know... these are German plugs) or
1. NGK, IX Iridium (yes, I know, Japanese.)
thanks
Eric

NGK BPR7ES's for me. Love em'.
That said, there are at least 1,345,876 posts on this forum relating to spark plugs.
Clearly, some are better than others for our cars but there are a bunch that work just fine.
IIRC, the platinums were not high on anyone's list for a number of reasons. I'd go with copper for sure regardless of which plug you pick. I know some folks have had good experiences with the Iridium's - smooth idles and such and I'm tempted to try them the next time I change just to see if I can tell a difference.
I chose the 7ES's though as they are a step colder and generally recommended for engines that have been modified a bit, as mine has. My PO used the crappy Bosch's with the 4 prongs on the top and I immediately switched those out to the NGK's and noticed my car ran noticeably better.
