Just pulled in from taking my recently acquired 951 out through the backroads of Chatham county. Just to drive it - hard. I am so happy I bought this car! It's simply amazing. My god I can't wait to get it to a DE. I'm doing CMP in October. Haven't autoxed it yet and I haven't done much of that this summer despite my screen name.
Anyone car to comment on the competitiveness of the 951 in stock class? Anybody use left foot braking in autox to keep the boost up?
Sorry for the waste of bandwidth but I am just happy as a pig in slop right now! <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" />

Your picture below your name shows it all. If you have stock suspension set up, the nose dive is horrible in the turns. Stock springs and torsion bars are way to soft for auto crossing(IMHO).

While body roll is large on these cars in stock form, they still handle incredibly well.
A tighter suspension in the front will cause more understeer.
Just my $0.42.
