What is that little box under the passenger side window switches?
J/w, because I have never seen that before.
My car was originally an 86 calahari beige automatic with a brown interior.
Good luck with the sale!

So...automatic 944 owners...what are they like to drive? This car sure looks in great shape...we might be interested...but I truly have no idea what an auto is like on a 944?

im probably only among a hand full of people who have auto's lol.
as opposed to a 5 speed, the automatic transmission has 3 speeds. my auto is pretty smooth throughout driving. since i drive 80% of the time in the city, its easy to park and get through traffic, although i do miss a manual on the highways and back roads etc. its just like driving any automatic car, really. except its a 944.
oh, and unlike the manual, there is the absence of that pedal on the far left >_>

well, in early august, i solved (sort of) the overheating issue. just needed a good drain and venting etc, and i replaced the coolant expansion tank cause mine was kind of cracking . drove it for a while, with just 80% water in it, and little antifreeze plus wetter water SUPER COOLANT. it controlled the overheating for sure.
drove it maybe 2-3 weeks, noticed the contamination in oil got WORST, like almost OVERNIGHT lol. so since then, ive assumed the worst, and either the headgasket or the oil cooler seals have failed severely. and since school is full time again, i put her away and surrendered the plates nd covered her up until i can have enough money to do all the "while your down there" jobs like head job, belts, water pump etc etc etc. it was done last year, but i figure why not while im down there. lol.
so, im sad. again. . driving moms van. again. . maybe December she will be running again . thank you for asking ^_^ appreciate the thoughts
i think all automatics do that, my moms van does it too if i floor it at the right rpm. it goes super fast with its V6 VTEC >_>'''''
