Looking for turbo look front end for late 85
My front fiberglass is in need of repair or replacement. I would rather replace it with a turbo look front end. It is for my late 85.
I'm looking for some direction on which one and from who (or is that whom).

It's whom, and I've just done the conversion, if I can be of help! A couple of things which I didn't realize were required:
1.) The black plastic headlight surrounds are different on a 951 (in addition to the headlight covers, header panel, etc).
2.) Modification was required (the drilling of one hole, each) on the braces which sandwich the outboard fastening surfaces of the front bumper to the fender by the wheel well. This was only difficult because the metal is really hard on that piece.
3.) I needed to make new connectors for the running lights and turn signals, as the the new 951 ones had different connections from my late N/A. I used Trailer hitch wiring kits for the turn signals, and scavenged my N/A driving light connectors for the 951 driving lights.
4.) Your headlights will be angled too far down when in the closed position, after you have installed the new lids and surrounds. They're quite easy to adjust, though.
I would suggest buying the whole clip (complete with fenders, lights, etc) rather than trying to piece it all together. My clip didn't include a few things, and the list above was generated as a result.

The turbo look bumpers don't look right and are too flat in the front. For the price you'd pay for a "turbo look" bumper you can just about find a real turbo bumper, header panel, headlight panels, etc. and then mod your NA fenders to work.

Put a CGT nose on it instead, it'll bolt right up.

I'd definetly go with the real thing. The repro front ends designed to fit the 944 header panel and fenders don't look "right". They tend to be "flatter" looking.
Here's the exaustive list of what you need to do the conversion for your late car:
