Makes a hell of a band aid and you always have some in the garage! (unlike the real band-aids) I have used super glue in the past, but I end up gluing other things to my hands rather than closing the cut.

Roberto, congrats on the new dash. I swapped my 944 dash about a month ago and also suffered more than a few skinned knuckles.
Strangely, when I saw the blood oozing from my hands, I could not help but smile. Somehow, you get the feeling that the car appreciates our effort.

Gotta be quick & tidy!
Yeah, Superglue only works on clean lacerations like knife, box-cutters, or sharp sheetmetal accidents. You have a second or two to see deep into your muscles before the bleeding starts. The dark squiggly veins are visible and the white parts is typically sheathing between the muscle layers. Then the red sea starts gushing...
What you have to do is be quick to use superglue. You spread the cut and stuff some sterile gauze deep into the wound. Then close it up and apply pressure to stop the bleeding. After about 30-60s, pull out the gauze quickly and spread the cut open with one hand. With the other hand, apply a bead of superglue on one side of the cut. Release and press the sides together. After about 10x, the wound's nice and sealed! Lay up a bead on top to seal the gap.
Of course, this is just a temporary stop-gap measure to allow you to get back to working on your Porsche quickly. Before your body dissolves the superglue, you gotta get to the hospital for stiches...
