Angry Clicking in my 944

Hi there Porsche buddies, I own a 1984 Porsche 944 that has a intermittent clicking problem. When the car is moving there is this annoying clicking noise. However, when the brake pedal is applied, the noise goes away. This problem seems to come and go. I initially thought it was a loose brake pad, but this was not the case. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Thanks,

PorschaPete

where is the clicking coming from?

It is probably the brake pad. It doesn't feel lose to the hand but it may be. Jack the car up and turn the wheel left-right-left-right really quick and see if you can get the brake pad to click.

welcome.

ps
also it may be a cv joint.
