Just in case anyone above missed it: Prespray it the day before every time that you get a chance.

The problem that Mike and I ran into was the bolt sort of welds itself to the brass? bushing on the inside. We presprayed one side while we were doing the other and one came out easy and the other didn't.

You may have to lower the car a bit and put some pressure on the spring to get the bolt holes to line up depending on what kind of shock and springs you have. Other than that it is really easy.

Prespray and Airtools. You can't go wrong.

Adrial -

Go directly to the hardware shop and buy washers. A couple thin ones will allow your spacing issues to be solved, as long as it's for inspection ONLY and not for really tracking the car.

HTH!

I haD the same problem with the caps on my boxster wheels. the caps from my 90's slip in the boxster rim (look like **** with the new rims though). also for a permanent fix I trimmed the tips of the boxster caps so they fit.

you saw the problem I had in the left rear with the 255s.

good luck.

Toolmaster, Nice...I'll definetely do that. If my wheels fall off its on your head though!

Tom, even after we removed the caps it wouldn't really fit. It was extremely close..but not quite.

thanks for all the tid bits, will definetely hit it with some PB blaster the day before..I've had enough broken/stripped bolts for one year already!
