Unhappy Radiator Overflow Tank repair?

I have a radiator overflow expansion tank on which two of the top mounting tabs have been broken off. I have the broken tabs. Is there a way these tabs can be repaired so that tank can be used securely? Thanks.

the tank is a weak spot on the 944. i paid about 75 for a new one (if you were closer i would give you my old one) from performance products. which means they are less from paragon.

too bad you cant use the plastic bag as a liner in the tank trick on the overflow tank like you can with the washer reservoir.

Cool

I wonder if these can be fixed by melting the material from an old plastic milk bottle. In the early 60s perception brought out a roto-molded plastic kayak that was difficult to repair. Some claimed to be able to repair it by melting (welding) material from a platic milk bottle into the crack. ???

No personal experience!

Much prefer to replace my tank before it needs repair (I'd better it REAL soon!!!)!
