Seems to be ok now. The last little while(yesterday, day before) has been a pain, with slow refreshes if any. I am running a ADSL.

Just for the sake of asking, what kind of line (lines) are you running the rennlist servers off of? T1?

In the next few weeks - I'm upgrading the SDSL to over twice the throughput (so it should be substiantially faster, depending on how I grab your packets) and changing T1 carriers. I'm also upgrading my internal network (which began yesterday). In the end - the primary servers will be communicating on a 1GB switched net - which should expedite my internal server communications by almost factor of 10...

Blazin' fast today. It has been dreadfully slow, but I figured it was something to do with the tweaks you've been making. I'm on Bellsouths DSL.

Thanks Mark and Bob...!!!

I'm going to take the server off-line in a bit for about 4-5 minutes, though... When it comes back - I think it still may be a tad faster for you...

And Welcome Bob to Rennlist!!! As you probably figured out - it's sort of a "hands-on" site (or at least for me.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )

Thanks to all for the input!!

As the resident Webtv'er (home), it's about the same, but no doubt that's my end, not rennlist. I just click over to CNN when it's slow.... And yes, I readily admit to being the trailer trash of the internet 8-P.

At work (some kind of fiber optic trunk into the NC "information sooperhiway"), our campus network is soooo f'ed up by the sudden adding of a ton of on-line courses without adequate hardware upgrades that I won't even try to judge speed there. It varies all over the place. Hell, I think email takes a half-hour from one side of campus to the other...

Jim, y'all can tell just how much I keep up with the hardware side of this stuff....
