I've got them on my car, 1987 951 for the Japanese market. Pictures I borrowed from another Rennlister as my car is black and I couldn't get my pictures to show the detail well. Apparently they are anchor points for child seats.

Course thread 5/16". Yes, they are NOT metric. They're for child seat tethers which were specified to have SAE fasteners.
I use them to secure my camera tripod for track days.

Thanks, much appreciate! Thought they might not be metric, the seat belt anchor bolts in my 924 and 951 aren't metric either.
