Cool Looking for a bolt-in roll bar with crossbrace removeable

Does anyone know where i can get a rollbar with a removable cross brace? I'd like to spend at max 500 bucks including installation. I can find someone down in SD to drill and install. just looking for places. I tried Bey-Krause and they don't have any roll bars on their page for 944s.. THis should also solve the "mob-Andy-for-a-ride-in-the-Porsche" problem

Performance Products is one of many vendors who carry Autopower roll bars. Their competition bar can be purchased with a removable cross brace. It runs about $400 plus shipping. They have been a reputable supplier and are running a 20% off sale thru the end of July.

I have no affiliation with the company, only a repeat customer.

Stable Energies in NJ carries a nice roll bar/cage built by Safety Devices in England.

The backing plates are welded to the body, and the cage is bolted to the backing plates. They are a snug fit, but that is what you want.

Look for the Safety Devices link at :

How about something like this:

The whole thing is removable with minimal effort, and you install... bolts into existing seatbelt holes - no cutting, no drilling. John Hajny has many satisfied customers on Rennlist - hopefully some could give you their impressions.

I have the rennsport rollbar, and am very satisfied so far. Fitment was easier than any other "bolt in" rollbar I've seen. Quality is also excellent. It took quite a bit longer to get me than scheduled but such is usually the case with things made to order.
