HELP need part quickly + advice (door handle)
My cars in the body shop right now and I was having them replace my pass. door handle while its out with a used one I bought. Well I took pics, but the damn camera wont upload the photos so thats that.
86 951..Door handle opening mechanism, very small metal part snapped in the original, but when I take the used one-its broken to! I never noticed. The metal arm is snapped. can i cut the other one and spot weld? Im sure that wont last w/ just a weld.
So I need a new one..anyone got one to sell?
Nice good cond pass side, w/ porsche lettering
Now I bought the 2nd one from a lister, and it came broken (albiet a year ago), but since Ive never had another handle in my hand i thought it would prob work not knowing the mechanism. well ive been had and out 50 bucks.
Alex Hill sold me the part under the email of David Foree. after a year should i even email thisd guy or just snap a pic and maybe someone else can use it?

I've got both sides as I just finished installing 968 handles on mine. Are you after the actuator arm? I'm not sure which part is broken on yours?

I have a set of door handles , ignition, and hatch lock with keys off a 84 944 if any one needs them. Make me an offer if you need a complete set.

That was some very fast service!!!!
Thanks alot guys, but I think I may have found a solution allowing me to keep the door handle and just replace the metal arm w/ an aftermarket one made by some guys in Chicago (Part Werks) for about 21 bucks. Im gonna try that route first, and if that fails Ill be emailing you guys again!!
