Long time Porsche guy (I think possibly some defective recessive gene) Recently picked up a '84 944 for peanuts got it sorted and put about 500 miles on it than sold it and was impressed so much I decided I had to have a good one so I followed the food chain upwards and ended up buying a '93 968 off of EBAY from a guy in upstate NY. I currently own a '89 3.2 anniversary and an '89 S4 which I've had for some time but will probably sell as I'm giddy as a school girl over the 968. Anyway, I fly out to Albany on wednesday to pick it up and I'm driving it back to Org. co. Ca. after spending time with my son who's in prep school in the area. So bit of a leap of faith but I'm itching for an adventure and looking forwaed. I'm not sure I had a point here other to say howdy.
i got a chance to take a RLer's 968 around the block and even with 190000 miles it still pulled like a f*ckin train, sounded good. my car is a NA with a turbo gearbox which is a dog but i have driven a 350hp audi s4 and also own a 310hp Q45 and that tired old 968 was pretty damn quick.
