I met my little sisters boyfriend for the first time tonight. I had driven my 951 over to my other sisters house where we were all congregating and he made a comment about my ride. He then proceeded to tell me that he had a "929" at one point - I think he said it was a 86. I was like, what? I've never heard of such a thing and he basically described a 928 - said it had a 'bubble back'. I asked him again - are you sure it wasn't a 928? He was sure it was a 929 and said they only made a few of them.
Is he full of ****? I can't find jack on a "929".

I don't think he was joking...I think he was trying to impress me, but once I called him out he didn't say much else. It definitely wasn't a 959, LOL.

Yeah, 939's were rare because it was an AIR body kit, IIRC.
The dude clearly said 929 and when I questioned him on it - he stuck with it.
People that own Porsche's, in my experience anyway, don't forget what the model is - and if they ever owned a 928...even if it was 10 years ago, they don't call it a 929.
I think he's just a douchebag.
