Quick question to any of those who bought one of these? I tried installing mine today...(I got the red top). The posts are closer to the fender well than the inside so the cables don't reach. I broke some vacuum line off that connects to a plastic tube thing in the battery compartment...no idea what is...moving the positive cable around trying to get it connected to the terminal. The negative is long enough, but not the short cable that grounds to the chassis - it won't reach. Also, the battery is about an inch too narrow for the existing clip that screws down to hold it in.

Has anyone come up with any innovative solutions to get one of these installed?

This grp buy is back for 2010. Selling brand new Optima battery, shipped direct from the factory to you at no additional cost. No limit on the batteries ordered. Email me at cup944@aol.com for this year's pricing.

Pay via Paypal. Upon payment receipt, I will email you a certificate issued by Optima for one battery. This is a limited time offer not available.

Measure the battery in your car and select the Optima battery that best meets your needs:

Racers prefer the yellow top: D51 because it is a bit lighter at 26 lbs and the yellow top is also a deep cycle battery allowing it to be recharged from dead many times.

Plus Optimas are Completely spill-proof, mountable in many positions. More than 15x the vibration resistance. Faster recharging capabilities.
Optimal starting power, regardless of temperature.

All proceeds go to benefit the 944 Cup series. Thanks for yur support.
