gt racing le mans spoiler
just wondering if anyone out there has purchased the GT-Racing Le Mans spoiler for the 944 (aka: the batmobile wing). Its in their online catalog and its the same stock design but its longer and deeper with a more agressive look. I would like to know if its fiberglass or rubber, and if it comes painted black, and how difficult it is to install. ANY info would be greatly appreciated! thanks! <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />

I don't know anything about it, but here is a picture of a badass 951 with the aformentioned wing, a widebody kit, front splitter, vented nose panel, and 335/30 18 rear rubber! Check it out:

Dr. Porsche's decendants should have done the splitter/bigger spoiler or the other "wing" in my opinion... Along with losing a couple of hundred lbs. and adding a easy 300-400WHP, then they could of gotten rid of the driving pendulum known as the 911. I bet Dr. Porsche really rolled over when he saw some of Porsches race cars : )
But seriously, I just replaced the splitter on the above hideous 951 and all you do is drill some holes. It is made of fiberglass and it comes shipped white. I didn't do the spoiler myself.
Hank at GT Racing backs up his products! It is nice to find someone that stands behind what they do!!
Mike B,
"have fun kids!"..."dads 85.5 auto beater" HUH??? : )
