Finally have the car where I need it, and have to reassemble the things I took off. Tried putting the oil cooler back on, but couldn't find the bolts that I took out!
I remember buying a water pump hardware kit back in the day. Is there anyone selling zinc plated (yellow preferred) hardware kits today? I'd even settle for an assortment so I could make sure I had spares for things that I don't know I'm replacing yet.
TIA

Just have your existing stuff plated. I use Four-D Metal in Sunnyvale since they are close by for me, but I know a few other listers have sent stuff to them as well and got the same results. Super-fast turn-around and they've never charged me more than their batch minimum of $65 no matter how much I've brought in. They can do yellow zinc on anything steel (not stainless or aluminum) -- ask for it on the darker side to better match the german look.
