Anyone that tries this with a light colored or metallic car, please post some pix as the webpage says it works better on darker colors.

Luckily the hundreds of chips on my 26 year old front end are small! do you have any before/after photos?

I too am looking into this and sent them an Email and they said you have to remove the old touch up paint before you use their stuff.
I will be ordering soon

Did they suggest a way to remove the old touchup paint? I have thinking about ordering, but this has been holding me up.

Not the best pics, but may help. (http://www.clublexus.com/forums/auto...view-pics.html)

This is the Email I got from them,
Hi James, Yes, our system will work for you. First thing you have to do is remove the old
touch up paint from the car. Use acetone and a q-tip to remove the old touchup
paint and then use our process. Thank you.

I tried this several years ago on one of my 911's. I could never get the paint to stay in the chip. It just came off as soon s I applied the second step solution. Looks like using a clay bar solves that problem. Very cool.

Bump

Has anyone who said they were going to buy the kit followed through and applied it to their cars? Pics? Results?

I did my metallic black (Cosmos) BMW before I sold it - took an hour or two and it looked really good.

I used black on my car with good results. It is better than traditional means of touch up (blobs).
