Good selection of new headlamps
...can be found on German eBay, www.ebay.de
Everyone knows already thet VW Golf 1 headlamps are direct fit to 924,944 models.
there are over 52 000 different items in ebay.de for Golf 1 and over 900 headlamps.
well worth to checking out. most of sellers will shpp worldwide.
some exmples:
there are lamps for xenon blubs, with angel eyes and so on..... and of course....those legendary "Iron Cross" headlamps....

i use google translator for german sites myself.
Dont know about better lighning, probably you´l get different looks only
..althougt those BOSCH elements are looking real glass and pretty OEM
