Blower Speed Slowing Down, then back
Hmmm. Hot day in Milwaukee, A/C is blowing cold, but I can hear the fan slowing down and then speeding back up at random, or at least not related to speed of the engine or anything I can tell.
Accompanied by clicking from under the passenger side of the dash, which may not be related because I've been hearing the clicking for years on hot days.
What does this sound like? Blower Motor? Resistor? Grounds? Let me guess, I have to take the dash out to get at whatever it is? Thanks,

It could be the blower fan resistor. It is located under the plastic cowl between the battery and fuse box.
You have to gently pry the fire wall seal away from the thin plastic cowl. Once that is removed you will see a white rectangle resistor. Sometimes the solder joints come loose or you may just have to clean the contacts. I hope this is a help for you. As for the click in the passenger comp. it may be the solenoids on the rt side of the HVAC. See clarks-garage.com go to home page click, top left 2nd down click and A-Z page click on H.
Cheers,
Larry
