Post how to rip inside of cat out

Just wondering how to rip the internals of the cat out. we are going to do it on my bros 928

The best way is to cut it open along an existing seam, that way the contents can be easily removed and a section of pipe can be welded in before welding the shell back together. If you don't weld a piece of pipe in side, the flow will be so turbulent that it will sound like crap and cost you a few hp.
