I am replacing the coolant temp sending units (the one to the guage and the one to the DME). I checked out paragon and pelican, is there anyplace else that I should check out? Does anyone have a spare one to sell?

At the DME plug, with the plug disconnected, between 13 and ground. It can also be tested on the sensor with the plug disconnected but you are not measuring the wiring to the DME.
59-86F * Room temp* = 1.45K to 3.3K ohms
176(80C) *Hot engine* = 280 to 360 ohms
Failure modes:
Open sensor = richer burn
Shorted sensor = leaner burn
