Had these assemblies sitting in the garage for way too long. Finally pulled out the old lenses, cleaned out all the black goo and installed the new ones. I had purchased the clear turn signal reflectors a while back and then cut out the orange ones on a spare set of tail lights and glued them in....
How did you cut the lens out? I tried like hell and had no luck? Looks nice, but I would tint that lens red or even the reverse too. On my black car I like the look of red blinker even though my reverse is still clear..

Hmm - I just drilled a hole in them and then used pliers to break out as much as possible. Then I carefully used sharp chisels and razor blades to clean out the glue and so on along the edges.

Used a plastic putty knife as it was dried out a good bit. Then used a lighter fluid type product to get the rest off. After that I put a cleaner wax on everything. Probably would be a worthwhile job even if you weren't changing the assemblies - just to re-caulk and clean in general....

I got these from a guy in the UK that did a few runs of front sidemarkers in clear and the rear corner reflectors.
