Default windshield washers

91 S2 Cab: anyone know what the 3-way T connector on the passenger side and 2-way L connector on the drivers side are for? I can't blow through them, but I can see some sort of spring inside. I'm not getting fluid out of the nozzles, but i can bypass these valves/connectors and everything works.

anyone know a reason not to put open T & L connectors inline?

thanks

They are check valves, without them it just takes longer, holding the switch, dragging the blades across a dry windshield, to get fluid to the nozzles... replacements are available...

Yes, you can bypass, I had to do so myself.
