Looking for parts...
Hey guys...new guy here...I was wondering if anyone has any of the following for my '88 944...used is fine...
front license plate bracket...(friggin cops)...
black 944 emblem for below rear hatch...
burgandy steering wheel with NO LOOSE STITCHING...
also, is it OK to use 87/89 octane in this n/a car...it says 91 but I think that's german standrds...
and my windshield wiper motor (really loud and whiney)doesn't work on low speed or delay...any thoughts...
AND LAST...where the heck do I find all the option codes (sticker no where in the spare tire area)...

Welcome Jim! Octane is fine unless it's pinging then upgrade....The owners manual is supposed to have the codes as well. Did you look under the rear carpet? Try <a href="http://www.madirect.com" target="_blank">www.madirect.com</a> or <a href="http://www.performanceproducts.com" target="_blank">www.performanceproducts.com</a> for the emblems and plate brackets. Have a white 1988 944 n/a...looking for parts...
Got the front plate bracket from Mike W...still looking for black 944 emblem, chrome exhaust tip, rear luggage cover hooks...rear hatch wiper hole setup so I can remove rear wiper...(have wiper arm, motor and everything for rear wiper to trade)...burgandy steering wheel w/ NO loose stitching...working fog lights (both)...
Still looking for help about loud whine from windshield wipers and possible fix for low and intermittent delay (not working on either)...
