Post 944 front vent

can someone gimme the link to the site that'll make the holes in the front panel of my car, right above the bumper. not sure what the piece is called but the part # is 944 503 033 02. Or if you could send me the link to the place that sells them, i'd appreciate it a lot.

Thanx in advance

why would you want it on an N/A?? the turbo's usually have it to help give air to the intercooler, but on an n/a, there is no purpose. Unless you just like the look of it.

John Anderson custom cuts many of these nose panels, and does it in chipless way that doesnt require painting. Give him a call at 619-562-0180
he will probably do it for much less than anywhere else is charging.

I'm doing it on my NA because i bought the fiberwerks nose, and while i'm getting it painted i figured i'd do that. Next year i plan on installing a SFR SC when i get my college money (20k in a trust fund my grandparents set up) because my job will pay for my college so i'll have a spare 20k when I turn 18. I'm gonna spend about 7-8 of it on my care, and the rest towards a place to live. Want more details?

That will help cooling the intercooler alot! Also I have read that the top of the line SFR SC kit will make some big #'s. Although, if your car is running hot now you might consider fixing that problem before you upgrade to a SC.

Just an OT thought, but why don't you invest that 20 grand, or at least most of it, and have an excellent start for your financial future? Shoot man, you could turn that 20 grand into a HECK of a lot of money... By the time you're 45 or so you could have over half a mil, easy - with no other investing. 45 seems far away but just ask how fast it went for some of the 45 year olds on here. You've got a great opportunity there.

EDIT: By the way I'm 22, not that much older, so it's not like I'm some "old fart" (sorry guys) preaching to you. When I do work, which isn't all the time, I put $$ towards my IRA, etc. I had a friend that won $20K in a hole in one contest, lucky SOB, and invested nearly all of it. Smartest thing he ever did.

I agree. Invest that money don't squander it. Stick with what you have and put a large chunk away. If you saved $2000/yr from ages 18-25 at an annual return of 7-8% by 65 you'd have $1 million or something like that. Save and invest!

8% is actually an extremely conservative number. I would have used 12% as an avg. Of course right now there is no fund with that sort of return, but that is why your focus has to be long term (right NOW is the time you should start, with quality funds' shares so inexpensive). The guy is 18, so we're talking 30 years, at least. At 12%, that's doubling each 6 years, so that's 5 doubles - which puts him at $640,000 if my math is correct. And remember, that's with no further investing for the entire 30 years. Start talking about a monthly investment and you're easily in the millions. And he'd still only be 48.

Simple math, nothing magic about it. Just takes time and discipline.

Sorry for screwing up your topic.

Hey Dan..

Careful on that age thing...<G> I am damned close to that number and I still drive "like I stole it" and belong to a number of car clubs and associations...Age is mind over matter..If you don't mind, it don't matter........

Cheers!!
