Just for a reference, I just tested how many amps my car pulls when everything is off. It read 0.024 amps. The longest test was 6 weeks and still started. I monitored it for a week and the voltage dropped 0.02V every day. I have an aftermarket alarm that I leave on all winter.

Ringo,

I fought a mystery drain on my 86 951 for about two and a half years before someone suggested I check the door jamb switch. Easy way to check it is to see if your windows still roll down after you remove the key. If they do, then your door jamb switch is the problem. We had a thread on this about two months ago, and there are plenty of details there.

Regards,

Scott,

Thanks. Yes, I think the windows do still go down after I take the key out. How did you fix the problem?
