Michelle,

There is, and I am sure will continue to be, a presence on this forum and the email list of some immature, or prejudiced, or just ignorant folks. Some of them tend to be the most vocal. That is what has driven away most of the knowledgable and interesting participants over time, and continues to. Things tend to settle at the least common denominator.

I guess the decision to be made is whether it's worth the effort to comb out the crap in order to enjoy the quality experiences. I go back and forth on the issue myself.

Matt (J.D., not a defense atty, but I'm married to one)

Ah - here is a better shot of the mullet-mobile. I do not think you will see any atty's driving one of these. At least not one I would use . . .

Wait, I knew I had.

Never had a mullet, thank God - I mostly went for the "Ramones" look. I'm a systems admin in KC now, but I still have 6 guitars and a nice fat Marshall for when I feel like too much of a Midwestern dullard.
Got a baby on the way, too. Gonna teach it how to play drums.

We'll have to compare rigs, as I have way too many guitars and a couple of Marshalls... plus a pile of other gear. I am not sure what you'd call my hair style... lol

So last night I was flipping through the channels and there was this show on Trio (arty cable channel) about Mullets. I only caught the last 10 minutes or so, but in that time I saw something that specifically related to what Michelle ws getting at.

They were interviewing folks who had mullets and what they though it represented to them. This woman who described herself as a "butch" lebian commented on how interesting it was that working class men and butch lesbian, who would probably never interact, could both have the same haircut.

Mullet: business up front, party in back. Or something like that. I think this post would have done better if it was titled "people" with mullets.
