A couple in my local PCA chapter have a GT2 in Speed Yellow...They track the car extensively. We had a meeting not long ago, and the car was there when I pulled up.

Now, I'll admit to being overly geeky in the presence of automotive greatness, but I kid you not: this car was something. Sitting there cold in the parking lot, it gave off this weird vibe, kinda like a low sub-frequency hum in the back of your ears. You could just feel the car waiting for someone to turn the key over and squeeze a buck eighty out of it...

I walked around the car looking at different angles for about 5 minutes before I went in...Being a Kentuckian, I fancy myself to know horseflesh, and this was no different than looking at 1m+ thoroughbred - purpose built for speed...

Maybe one day...

I saw a GT2 at the Detroit Auto Show last year. While there were lots of incredible machines at that show the GT2 was the only one that had that air of "Pure Driving Machine" about it. Awesome car. If I had cash I would buy one immediately.

I take comments like "harsh ride/impractical" very seriously! I would much rather have a 996, for half the cost! Still a killer car, but comfy to drive (well, more comfy anyway)!

The GT2 is a millionaire's play-thing kinda super car...not meant for the mortal man!

I would commit bodily harm for a 996TT or a GT-2.

To be perfectly honest though, I prefer the 993 body style. A few more curves and a little smaller looking -- whether or not it really is. Give me a 993 Turbo S and I will mow your lawn with my teeth for the rest of my life.

Personally, I think I will wait and get this one:

They are even going to bring out a special all-terrain version:

I'll pass on that one, though! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
