Talking I'm in trouble, bought another car

So I get stuck in Rochester for the weekend because I get an ear infection and cant fly home, what to do?

A guy at work "talks" me into driving down to NYC so he can look at a '95 C2S Carrera. He doesnt like the car, but I buy an '81 Euro SC that someone elses has invested a huge amount of money in, so I have two questions:

1. How to tell the wife that another P-car followed me home (Money Pit 1&2).

2. Where can I get a bumper sticker that is shaped like the outline of a 944 that says "Real P-cars have a water pump"

If I wasnt broke before I will be now <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

I've heard from the 911 board that it's easier to ask for forgiveness rather than ask for permission... let us know if it's true!

hahaha, you have it made... you have the "wife" to yell at you when you buy another one... me, well, I dont have a wife... so I just buy the car when a good deal comes along. I am back down to 2 p-cars now but in the back of my mind I am still in the market to make it 3 again.

84 - 944na 47,000 documentable mileage
86 - 944na-Turbo front clip
80 - 924, SOLD one part at a time
looking for an 86-87 951... but I may have to sell one of the others first.

I've got 4, one in the semi-stripped in the back yard somewhat hick-style (it is covered though). and one on jacks in the front midway through a clutch job.

The wife has five dogs though so I get to harbor as many P cars as she does dogs. Needless to say, our "docks" are quite full.

Let's see.................

Well honey, I had an ear infection and couldn't fly home to you. I got to thinking how I missed you and really needed a back up plan if the ear infection stayed for a long time, so................

It must have been the medication for the ear infection... I really don't recall exactly how this happened.

I appreciate the suggestions, if it turns ugly or when, I am leaning towards "so it is okay for you to go buy a new mercedes, but I am not entitled to buy a used car". I have a lot of work to do on it, plus I went to the Coach store and bought her a purse she wanted and I figured I would get $1000 in twenties to stuff in the purse, wrap it up and give it to her. The minute she opens it she will ask what did I buy, how mad can she be as she heads to the mall? Or just save the money and take the beating like a man. Either way I will keep the car
