![Question](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Does anyone know the part number for the Air Bypass/Bleed Screw (Mines Missing)
My local shop tried to get one from the Porsche Dealer and they told them it was not available. Supposedly set by the factory and not to be adjusted, therefore they don't sell just the screw??? I don't buy it.
I did a search on past postings but had no luck coming up with the answer I'm looking for:
1. Does anyone know where I can purchase this part?
OR
2. Does anyone know the specific part number?
Thanks again to all those that reply.
This site is incredible! I've learned more in the last few weeks from this site than 2 years reading through P-books.

I can look up the PN for the screw and O ring when I get home. I know it is availible since many of us have lost them in transit. Over time, the O ring shrinks and the screw backs out.
Check out Danno's site for the pinout to disable the idle air control valve so you can set the idle.

Instigator,
Yes very interested. I sent you an e-mail regarding the screw.
Perry, I would still like to have the part number as well if you wouldn't mind.
Thanks!

Wait, the way they've been falling off, it probably wouldn't take you more than five minutes to find one on the shoulder of your local highway!
My mechanic had one in stock, maybe Porsche has sold out of them?
Thinking about instigator's offer, I'm not sure it's the right part. Is afm the air flow meter? This part isn't in the air flow meter, and it's not covered by a button. If it was, it couldn't fall out!!

Sorry about the delay, my long day got longer.
Idle Control Screw - 951.110.919.00
PET indicates that there is no O ring availible, but it shows one on the screw itself. It might come with it.
If not, 013.814.8 will work.
EDIT - after going back and reading again, Instigator mentioned a screw in the AFM. That is the CO adjustment. The one I think you are missing is in the throttle body. If it is the other one, let me know and I will look that up as well.

The O-ring comes with the screw (it is not listed as a separate part number). I was able to buy one from my local Porsche dealer for $6. In the mean time, you can plug the hole to improve driveability.

Would you guys know what the part number is for the 944S idle screw? I looked in PET and I could see the throttle screw that you mentioned with the same part number, but on the same diagram for the 944S, there is no Throttle Screw.
Does this car even have a throttle bypass screw??
