Ha! had this very conversation today:

Guy: Hey, Skip - you know about computers... what do you think about this... blah, blah, 2.4Gig, 512k, 1Gig, blah, blah. I'm a gamer, should I start using RAID?

Me: Well, blah, blah, waste of money, blah, blah.

Guy: Cool, thanks. Hey I also installed a clear side panel and a neon tube inside... looks way cool.

Me: Go away

Chris, requires 3xHD's and the supremo controller - not something a guy playing quake bottle-necked over his lamo DSL connection needs to stay competitive.

RAID has it's place, just not in the Living Room
