Seen just 3 944's to date.. one just today Head lights sticking up and for sale at the gas station...... will check out later...Lots of boxsters though...seems popular around here.. motor city and all.

Alex... sorry, I haven't been following this thread too close. Born in Burlington, grew up outside High Point (Spencer Ave., east side)'til 4th grade, moved to Jamestown (the cheaper side) then. Folks moved to Asheville in '66; I came here then, but went into the USN almost immediately. Lived in Asheville full-time since '71.
IIRC, Thomasville has (had?) the world's largest chair in the town square... symbolic of the furniture industry... and we used to alternate butt-whippings in HS athletics (Ragsdale HS).

Military school in Roswell, NM
Party at Arizona ST for three years
Architecture degree at Texas Tech in Lubbok
Now in Salt Lake City, UT (ski the winter and drive the canyons in summer)
