Default Fuchs replicas center caps

A friend gave me a set of Fuchs replica wheels off his Porsche 930. They didn't come with center caps however I have a set of fuch 3-prong center caps.

The center caps fit on the replicas but they dont fit very tight.
Im afraid they will fly off. Anyone have any ideas to make them fit?

It's hard to tell without a picture of the flip side of the caps so I am guessing what they look like. Can you bend the prongs ever so little? I have wraped things in duct tape when it is a loose fit and it will go where it will not be seen.

This is the back of the center cap. I have tried bending the prongs out so they get a tighter grip but still seem loose. Theres a 1/8 inch lip in the center of the rims

OK that is not what I thought it would look like. That metal looks like the kind that if you try to bend it snaps off. The duct tape idea is out also. Maybe someone else has an idea.

If the prongs will bend, try using a set of needle nose pliers to bend just the outer part of the clip outward, and perhaps just slightly upward. You might also try placing the centercap in the wheel, and then use the needle nose to bend the prongs while the cap is in place. Another idea might be to make a flat backing plate out of a steel soup can lid, make it slightly larger than the hole in the wheel, with slots for the prongs in the cap cut/punched into the plate. The prongs engage the plate, and the plate holds the cap on the wheel

I have seen a friend put a very small amount of clear silicon on it and it worked great. He was still able to remove them with minor effort after it dried too.

I have these on my Fuchs also.

Plus - Will not come loose or get stolen.
Minus - When you have your tires changed or balanced they will hate you.

I have learned to remove mine before I take them to a tire shop.

Now thats funny elzergon. My avatar is from the pics from the ad when I bought the car few years ago but not that dealer in Reno. I bought mine in Texas
I used the pics he sent me. I thought it was my car but looking at it closer , my car has 90k miles on it and has brown interior and is a manual. I'm puzzled. and find it a little funny.
I wonder if this dealrship still has this car? 'Cause I have had mine for a few years. I may give them a call.

Thanks guys but those locks wont work on these center caps. They are different. There is no side wall for the lock to slide into and bolt onto. .
