Post Boxster S wheels on S2

Anyone know if spacers would be needed, how much those might cost, or where I could find this information?

Member X: Actually, I know which ones you're talking about, but I was wondering about these: <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1841158499" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1841158499</a>

Although <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1841688593" target="_blank">these</a> also are tempting.

Triscadek: Do you know that person's email by chance?

And now for a dumb follow-up, hypothetical question: let's say I got some wheels and didn't know if they had the right offset. Would they appear to fit, and then cause some catastrophe while I'm doing 70 on the highway, or would it be obvious that they need spacers?

Skewrl-

The Boxster S wheels should fit the S2, but you might have a problem putting on center crest on the front wheels. The face on the newer wheels is pretty shallow and the back of the cap may bump up to the dust cap for the wheel bearings.

I put the Boxster Crabs on my 89 S2. see my postg titled my car with crabs or something like that for a picture.

I had to trim the nubs that hold the center caps on in the front. the rear left rubs and i had to roll the double lip in the inner fender. the front rubs when i autocrossed.

i my need a new suspension since the car has 69k on it....but everything boletd right on.

good luck
