Default Oil Pressure Gauge Stuck at 4.5?

Anyone ever seen their gauge stick somewhere? Mine has been working fine but today when I started it up and took a short trip it never came off of 4.5. Usually, it sits around 2-3 when idlng and bounces around even at idle if I get on the gas. I was reading a few other posts and folks have said that when the sending unit fails - it normally pegs (mine only goes to 4.5 where it normally sits and cruise) and occasionally stays at zero.

So, is it the oil pressure sender? How difficult are these to swap out in a 951? Assuming this is the right part I need for replacement? Anyone have any problems with installing an aftermarket unit? http://www.paragon-products.com/prod....203.01apa.htm

Finally, is it OK to put this off for a week or so? It won't harm anything other than not telling me the pressure which I'm 99% sure is fine?

In case it matters - when I turn the 2nd position right before starting, the oil pressure gauge stays at zero - the red warning light comes on down at zero but as soon as I start the car it pegs to 4.5 and really doesn't move (I see it move a mm or two each way but that's it). I just drove it around for a little bit to make sure the engine was fully warmed up and give it time to come back down and it never did.
