Why Porsche? What made you buy?

Always loved the 911's. I think it was in high school, but correct me if I'm wrong(someone will) but the 911 turbo would do 0-60 in 3.9 secs. It was the fastest production car sold in the US, tied with a GNX twin turbo.
Anyway, I have always dreamed of a 911 with a whale tail. Knowing that we were going to have kids and buy a house, the wife agreed to $10,000 budget(includes everything for 2 years). I wanted a 951 and I was kissing a lot of local frogs, and with a bun in the oven it was now or never. But, then I found a local S. It had no records passed '93, but I had a list of about 50 things to check and my S passed(except tires and A/C). So, I had a PPI done by a P-car mechanic(passed) and the rest is history.
My wife recently gave me a son and we just closed on our house in So. NH(with Garage).... Can life get any better?
