Dang. Too bad you guys are soooo far away. I have an 87 n/a tranny and a 86 turbo tranny sitting on the ground in my garage taking up space. Only the 85.5 and later will fit since the trans mounts up differently and the aluminum case is casted differently as a result. Good luck.

the s2 box is strong like the turbo and very similar ratios to the na. it's a good upgrade for the regular 944

An even better option could be a S box... strong, ratios that u will like, and not much more than an N/A box.....

I just bought a Transmission for 355 bucks including shipping on ebay today. hopefully by next week I can start the "surgury"
