no sport, i was an ems helicopter pilot in phx for 3 1/2 years and went out on a lot of calls just like this that ended up in multi car accidents with multiple fatalities because some clown thought it was ok to hi-ball on public roads.
thanks

Bearone- I thank you for your service as an EMS first responder. My father is also about your age and is a retired State Police officer. He taught me to have a deep respect for the law and those who enforce it.
I have no reason to lie about this situation nor do I have any reason to further defend my position. I have spoke the truth about it and have nothing further to say.
As for you- if you cannot accept what I have written, so be it. Leave it alone and stop being the crotchity old man on the corner.

WOW...you were granny shifting that car...where was all the "hi ballin' " happening that bearone is crying about?
That SUV pulled out in front of you..a typical SUV "road-god" driver.
Sheesh.
Chad, this car gives me a chub-on. I look forward to the final pics with full graphics and a vid of a walk-around, and dare I say, RACE!

That is a sweet sounding N/A! Kudos to you Chad for keeping your control and fighting that urge to drive unsafe. I know in those turns I'd have a huge urge to do twice that speed and I know you could do that as well but that would be unsafe on public roads.
I think bearone would have a serious heart attack if he saw a video of me on the busy roads around here. I don't ever street race but I do completely enjoy my car. The cops around here have better things to do then bother with people going a SAFE 10mph over the limit. The highway is posted at 70mph but 80-90mph is closer to the average speed. Hell last weekend I was driving home going about 95 mph and had 3 cars pass me.
You forget two major things...one is that speed limits are posted at safe speeds for ANY driver in ANY car. Generally good drivers that speed are paying more attention to the road and not fiddling wth cells phones, radio, eating etc. Watch his driving again, notice anything? BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL! Now go for a drive on any public road and look at other drivers, tell me how many of them have both hands on the wheel and are not doing anything else while driving.
So tell me which is safer?
A 90 year old lady in a rusted 1984 Century doing 35mph or
A younger person with faster reflexes in a much better kept and handling Porsche doing 45mph on the same road...hell even going 50mph.
When it comes to the safety of my soon to be born baby girl and her mother, I sincerely wish there would be more responsible porsche drivers doing slightly over the speed limit rather then some half blind 90 year old lady.

I'm trying to talk him into it, I'll be there with a friend running an M Coupe and it would be very cool to see a 20 year old car blow his doors off! Well, except for the friend is also my boss...maybe take it easy.
