Will these Koni's fit my 924S?
As I was taking apart my 944S parts car I noticed these Koni's. The car as them on all four corners, but would they fit my 1987 924S? My 924S already has rear Koni's and some type of front's as well. Anyway the part numbers on the left read KN2 29-87 951 343 031 08 and the right reads KN2 951 343 032 08, and the rears have similar numbers. I hope somebody answer's this quickly because I'd like to know. Thanks!

The holes to mount to the spindles will not be aligned. You will need to mahcine the inner portion of the strut mounting bracket and redrill one of the holes. Pretty commom as very few high-end shocks are availabel in the NA mounting style.

these are off of a 944S - wouldn't that have the same mounting spacing? I thought it was just the turbo that had the wider spacing
my only concern with the fronts would be that the 944S has the late offset suspension setup, including longer A-arms whereas the 924S has the narrower early setup (924S has early suspension and late offset wheels to fit everything under the bodywork). The rears should fit fine I believe.
Your best bet though may be calling up the guys at Paragon, they could give you a definite answer I'm sure

Ok. Thanks guys. I'll give Paragon a call and ask them a couple of questions. Now if I install these, how much will my handling improve overall? Because I don't think my front suspension right now is stock. The front strut thing has a blue ring around it. Does that mean anything?

As for other parts, if you have otherwise factory suspension, the sways would probably be a slight improvement, particularly the rear bar as the 924S didn't come with a factory rear bar. You may want to buy new bushings, but those are pretty cheap and it shouldn't be too hard.
