Storage tip, maybe
Seems like every Fall we have questions about how to store a car for the winter without getting mouse damage. Since I'm now doing research on buying a small RV, I've spent a lot of time reading various RV discussion boards for the past few weeks. Since RV's are also often winter-stored, they have the same problem, maybe worse with all the pass-thru's for wiring & plumbing.
Here's one that I can't vouch for personally, but a lot of posters on that RV board use it and claim that it works... Put several Bounce dryer sheets in the vehicle.. they use one in each storage compartment, cabinet, or closet, and several in the main coach area. The unscented ones don't work. I thnk I'd add a few to the under-hood area, too, having seen mouse-chewed wiring years back.
So file this away in your memory for next year. Supposedly, it also prevents that musty smell from being noticed after storage.
Jim, gone to lunch, finally...8)

I wouldn't know if this would be good for the interior, but all rodents hate camphor, also commonly know as moth *****.Under the hood put it where you think they are entering they will not come back. Make sure you remove b-4 driving I don't know what would happen to camphor wf a hot engine. The best would be sprinkle it aroud areas where they might enter the garage, this should work well. RED
