A/C doesn't blow cold - mechanic says bad solenoids?

Sounds like you need an A/C shop , not a regular mechanic....
1. If he retorifitted it , I would have hoped he put in all new barrier hoses ( R134 molecule is smaller ) and replaced all the seals , as well as completely evacuated and decontminated it and put in a new dryer.
2. is he verifying the pressures generated against ambient temperature at the time ?
3. IS he measuring the evaporator temp ? is it even getting cold ? if there is a stuck "door" then the evaporator would freeze turning off the compressor. If the compresor is running continually it aint getting cold.
