well i guess the topic pretty much says it all. i have to replace my cracked and crappy speakers. i'd like to do the best setup i can and usually 6x9's sound pretty good. if i can mod them in the front and/or back then i'll give it a shot. just curious if anyone has successfully accomplished this

i dont think 6x9s will fit anywhere besides in custom boxes. i built two out of wood and put them in the rear storage space. I painted them black and they look cool and sound great. Good Luck!

This is a good place to put a 6" * 9" speaker. This particular one is a JBL Decade 300Watt 6"*9", it really gives power to the sound system.

where is that, the trunk? i'm probably going to go with an infinity kappa 5 1/4 component system for the front and kappa 4x6 in the rear. i might get one or two of those custom sub boxes for the trunk that fit in the cubby holes. anyone have any experience with them? will two make a real difference or is one enough?
