ABS - Antilock warning light on UPDATE
#16
ok, that did clarify things quite a bit !
It can't be the brains, cause the light does go out after starting the engine.
So I think, that it is definitely the drive off test, which is causing this whole thing.
Where are the two relays, you mentioned, located,
the pump motor relay and valve relay ?

You have to remove the wheel arch liner onn the passenger side, and look inside the arch to find the unit. There is a black plastic cap screwed on with a thumb screw (no tool needed..... in theory!) Under that are two more relays. It's my theory as to what's gone on my car, bbut having just go the head back on, I needed a weekend off before crawling under it again!

yesterday I got to the ABS pump, it's in a very interesting place..
Anyway, took the pump relay and the valve relay out, and I'm going to the local Bosch parts store to check / replace them.
So hopefully it will do the trick.

nope.
they were ok.
one more thing to check, the main ABS relay in the fuse box. Then I guess I have to start cleaning those speed sensors.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
