Default searched....noob sunroof

ok this has been done ect ect... roof used to work as followed (right or wrong) key in 1 roof would pop up in back when pushing bottom of switch, key in 2 top of switch roof would drop and arms retract...well the arms went back and now it would come out... they dont autolock the motorstill works...and slipperclutch works... any help?

I would Check your plastic gears that move the arms up and down. They are known to break when the clutch or micro-swiitches are out of alignment. I recently replaced my gears (the teeth were stripped) and then re-adujsted both the micro-switches and the clutch and now the roof works like new.

Clark's guarge has the procedures for replacing the grears and aligning the clutch and microswitch.

thanks...should have posted looking more for opinions on the best place to start based on my situation...see i read the posts and by the sounds of it the way mine was working was wrong but it was working till the day i retracted it to pull the roof and they wouldnt come back out....
