Question Severe shifter vibration?!

I have been working on bringing a 951 back to life.

Have only been able to drive the car about 10 miles.(and now back in my garage for more work).

On the drive the shifter has a massive vibration to it. So much so that you can't really hold onto the shifter between shifts.

I searched, but came up a bit dry on a real answer.

Thoughts on what to look at?

Trans mount? What else?

Yeah, is it at 4000rpm-ish? That'd scream balance shaft timing...

It's at all speeds.

Car ran fine, idled fine. Seemed smooth. Seemed to pull smooth. Shifter just vibs a LOT!
