Red face 944 Armrest Replacement

Anybody out there have one of these?

They are available from Prestige Partsin the UK. The picture makes this piece look pretty high quality.

The price is pretty high ($75.99 USD + shipping), I was wondering if anyone has a source for them in the US...

Thanks,
Brendan

Wow, if you can find them I'm interested too! I've been looking for a decent cupholder for months...to date everything I've seen is either tacky looking or looks like Rube Goldberg designed it!

Hey Mich924S!

You private messaged me to see if I had gotten one of these armrest replaceemnts yet! Alas I have not...the a-arms/struts and timing belts and oil leak sapped me of 944 funding for a while!! I tried to reply to your message, but your account is set up to not accept messages!

Perhaps in a couple months after the account rebuilds....

That sure looks nice, but where would you put all the handy stuff that fits in the "standard" armrest? I have a load of spare bulbs, coins, pens, receipts, car wash coupons, nuts, bolts etc "necessary" items in there and the idea of cleaning everything that up is a bit frightening

Looks like normal armrest without cover added with cupholder.Used to have "non-cover" armrest in my previous '87 944na.Should be quite simple to fabricate the cupholder if only you have this simpler style armrest.

Where did you get $75.99?? The website is in pounds, and the coversion is over $80. Imagine Auto has them here, but they're about $85. Shipping is probably a LOT cheaper though.
